Gesunde Zähne für ein gesundes Lächeln

Was ist Professionelle Zahnreinigung

How is PZR performed?

Our professional tooth cleaning is carried out exclusively by a trained and experienced prophylaxis assistant. The use of modern ultrasound and piezon devices (for hard plaque) and the latest generation of water-powder jet devices (for soft plaque and discoloration) allows us to carry out the PZR as gently as possible and absolutely painlessly.

The PZR is individually adapted to each patient and includes the following:

- Advice and education on removing hard tartar

- Removal of all hard and soft deposits and stains on all tooth surfaces

- Cleaning of the interdental spaces and hard-to-reach places

- Cleaning of fixed and removable dentures as well

Superstructures for implant-supported dentures

- Polishing and fluoridation of all tooth surfaces

- Advice on how to optimize your oral hygiene at home

Additional services can be provided on request, such as

- Tongue base cleaning

- Saliva and caries diagnostic test

- Professional denture and denture cleaning

- Advice and demonstration and exercises of tooth cleaning aids (e.g. dental floss, electric toothbrush, etc.)

How long does the PZR last?

The PZR treatment takes about 45 -60 minutes

How often do I need the PZR?

The frequency of PZR depends on individual factors such as the severity of plaque and inflammation of the gums,

Our recommendation :

in normal health / dental health 1-2 times a year

For periodontitis patients, diabetics, smokers, other high-risk patients: 4 times a year

How much does the PZR cost?

The PZR is not covered by health insurance and is billed privately according to the GOZ (dental fee schedule) per tooth. The individual price is made up of the number of teeth, the severity of the deposits and the frequency of use and will be communicated to you after the first check/consultation and explanation by the dentist.

Some statutory health insurance companies also pay a certain fixed amount if they are checked regularly.

Most supplementary insurance and private insurance even cover 100% of the costs (also several times

yearly).

Please make your online PZR appointment only if you have already been informed.
